suckercity

I was born in Perth Australia, one of the most isolated cities in the world. I studied Art in Melbourne

Gradually I took an interest in the moving image and specialized in creating and animating special effects. I moved into Art Direction and relocated to London. Here I worked for large film studios and production houses on movies such as Harry Potter and Batman Begins. I enjoy this huge imaginary world where anything is possible and the production is grand. However it’s a world of collaboration and I needed to pursue my own images. I now paint full time.

I have exhibited in Australia, The United Kingdom, Europe and the USA. I still live in London where I have my studio. Now I spend as much time as I can Painting and Drawing. My influences are broad from Hans Memling, Joseph Cornell, Durer, Frida Kahlo, Walton Ford and James Gleeson.
